A 25 minute Tutor Time session created especially for LGBT+ Month to reduce transphobia and celebrate diversity (Feb 2019). This is the fifth of six sessions to be used throughout LGBT+ month, each focusing on and exploring the culture and history of a different aspect of the LGBTQAI community, from Lesbians (L) to Intersex (I).

25 (more added!) hours worth of engaging Citizenship lessons all about prejudice and discrimination, 21 Powerpoints (20 downloads), 66+ worksheets, all good-outstanding lessons, fully differentiated tasks to three levels throughout, clip links, KS3/4.
Also now added a year 8 SoW which takes all its lessons from this pack (although there are additional lessons here added more recently). Racism, Disability, British Values , LGBT, loads more... Everything you need if Ofsted walked in!
Also just added, an Autism Awareness presentation which could be used as part of a lesson, an assembly or for tutor time.
Topics covered: Prejudice, Stereotypes, Discrimination, Immigration, Disability, Media, Racism, Teenagers, Britain, Equal Opportunities, Ageism, Xenophobia, Nationalism, Religious Prejudice, Privilege, Homophobia, Sexism, Asylum Seekers, Transphobia and more.
Could be used as a whole Citizenship unit. There's about 30 hours worth of planning here - I use all these lesssons myself as head of Citizenship and PSHE.
Credit for individual clip links which can be used in conjunction with lesson tasks has been given to companies when uploaded individually - these are in the main BBC and Channel 4.

This resource pack includes an hour long PowerPoint, differentiated challenge activities, worksheets, clips and literacy focus tasks. These resources have been designed to be engaging, detailed and easy to follow. All our resources are editable (so easy to adapt for your classes). Please note, although this is useful for science, this is foremost a PSHE lesson.
